On the home page, you will find various ways to find information:
the content section of the home page contains the most important news, such as the latest updates, colloquia and job vacancies, all at a glance.
The service bar at the top contains important settings and links. The directory and search function can also be found here. Under the ‘Contrast view’ option, you can change the appearance of the intranet.
Information on key cross-cutting topics (keywords, information, PTB documents, personnel, etc.) can be found in the horizontal topic overview. The first item in the topic overview, “Keywords”, enables quick and targeted access to content (both alphabetically and by topic).
If you are looking for specific information on an organisational unit, you will find the PTB’s organisational structure on the left-hand side, with the main sections: Executive Board, Technical Departments, Administrative Services, etc. The ‘Executive Board’ section, for example, provides access to information such as the PTB’s management guidelines, the target agreement with the BMWE, or the PTB’s strategic planning processes.
Information on the individual administrative units is stored under the “Administrative Services” button.
Many important areas, such as the library and Technical Services pages, as well as information on occupational safety and workplace health promotion, can be found via the “Service Providers” main section.
